Elements: Minor Planet Center observable-comets file, refreshed daily. Magnitudes are the standard M1 + 5·log Δ + K1·log r model (H–G phase law for asteroids) — real comets routinely surprise by ±1–2 mag. Trail limit assumes sidereal tracking with the body allowed ≤1 px of smear; track the target itself (or stack comet-aligned) to go longer.
